Managing Director
Tom is a Professional Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and an RICS Registered Valuer. He set up Lang & Stone back in June 2020 to provide in-depth pre-purchase advice to homebuyers around the South West of England. Tom has previously worked for an NYSE listed real estate consultancy based in the City of London and prior to this at one of the UK’s largest housebuilders in the planning and development teams. He obtained a Masters of Science in Real Estate at Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management.
Tom is also a keen winter mountaineer, scuba diver, sailor and has run a few marathons at home and abroad.

Operations Director
Fred has over 14 years of experience in the property industry and has recently relocated to Bath. He started his career as a P402-certified Asbestos Surveyor in the South West. He then moved to London, where he worked across various London markets, starting in Richmond, moving on to Chelsea and surrounding areas, and later onto central and North/East London. After working for high-end independent agencies and large corporate companies, he understands what matters to landlords, buyers, owners, and clients. As well as being a qualified asbestos surveyor, Fred is a talented chef and can sometimes be found cooking up a feast on a Cornish beach.

Registered Valuer
Aran is an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and an AssocRICS Registered Valuer, carrying out residential valuations for Lang & Stone. He has spent twenty years in the built environment, starting in architectural practice before moving into estate agency, where he carried out over 100 residential market appraisals. Aran is due to graduate from Henley Business School in with a Master of Science in Real Estate Investment and Finance. He also holds an Investment Property Forum Diploma in Property Investment and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Bath and has lived in Bath for nineteen years. Aran is a keen endurance athlete, having swum at national level, completed four Ironman events and walked the Camino de Santiago.
